Good morning...

Overall, a very good day for most of the services, yesterday.

The top rated horse for Focus Ratings (which underlays many of the services) had a 37% strike rate.

Advance Ratings had 4 winners from the 7 selections...

Including one at 22.23 BSP.

Intelligent Betting had 1 winner from 2 selections and made a slight profit.

I have to go out today so I won't be able to get too much work done but I will carry on with my admin work (nearly finished now) as getting that cleared will give me more time in the future to get on with the important things.

In order to be honest and truly transparent with you...

You will be able to see what I am working on and, more importantly, what progress I am making.

Here are the current tasks...

T01). Work out a number of strategies to utilise R9 and provide Focus Rating members free Portfolio Betting selections across a number of different betting strategies (win backing, place backing, dutching, laying and,
the other thing that I described that I don't know what it is called) on a daily basis.

T02). For Compass Ratings, display, on screen and via a email PDF, the twice weekly updated trainer/jockey win/place strike rates.

T03). For Compass Ratings, complete the eBook that explains all the weird and wonderful things that I have learned about Hong Kong Horse racing.

T04). Complete PaperTradeIt.com - a free site where you can privately log your bets and get Strike Rate, POI (to ISP and BSP) data and losing run analysis on those bets.

I'm trying to knock off the easy/quick jobs first in order to reduce the size of the list; the size of the list scares me sometimes and, believe me, I have twice as many jobs on the Admin/BAU (Business As Usual - things like automated scripts, backups and server log file analysis - stuff that all website owners have to do) task list to get through as well.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 61.35 units returned to 73 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -15.96%

Top Rated Horse - There were 10 winners from the top rated horses from 27 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 19.23 units returned to 27 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -28.78%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 6 winners from the second rated horses from 25 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 34.37 units returned to 25 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 37.48%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 2 winners from the third rated horses from 21 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 7.75 units returned to 21 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -63.1%

Non Handicap Races - Top Rated Horse - There were 10 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 6 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 60%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 10.98 units returned to 10 units staked. The Top Rated Non-Handicap Profit Index was, thus, 9.8%

Non Handicap Races - Top Three Rated Horses - There were 10 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 8 Top Three Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for the Top Three Rated Horses) was 80%

Investment Betting has been running at a 54.2% strike rate and has returned a POI of 14.50%

It is currently the 3rd highest performing backing service (for the last month) on Racing Index.

EarlyBird Ratings

There were no Diamonds and Gold (Platinum) selections yesterday...

The Platinum selections seem to be doing very well but...

The service is highly selective with only 25 selections in the last month.

However, the Strike Rate is 40.0% and the POI (to BSP) is 6.00%.

There is an overweight guy who is watching TV.

So the guy, thinking what the hell, signs up for it.

Next morning an incredibly beautiful woman is standing at his door in nothing but a pair of running shoes and a sign about her neck that reads, "If you can catch me, you can have me."

As soon as he sees her, she takes off running.

This continues for a week, at the end of which, the man has lost 10 pounds.

After this he tries the next weight loss plan, 15 pounds in a week.

The next morning an even more beautiful woman is standing at the door, in similar conditions.

The same happens with her as the first woman, except he almost catches her.

This continues for a week, at the end of which he, as suspected, weighs 15 pounds less.

Excited about this success, he decides to do the master program.

Before he signs up, he is required to sign a waiver and is warned about the intensity of this plan.

Still he signs up.

The next morning, waiting at the door, is a hulking 300 pound muscle man with nothing but a pair of running shoes, a raging erection, and a sign around his neck that says, "If I catch you, you're mine!"
