Good morning...

Well...

It seems ages since I last did a Morning News.

This wasn't intended but, one of my clients had an emergency job that I had to work almost literally day and night to complete.

There's still a bit more work to do but the majority of work has been done.

So, back to concentrating on horse racing stuff for me.

I've got a lot of catching up to do but the main project is to complete the Focus Ratings price rise.

Don't worry, if you are a Focus Ratings member you will always pay the price you signed up at; the price rise only affects new members.

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 30.77%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 29.63%.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 55.9 units returned to 80 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -30.13%

Top Rated Horse - There were 8 winners from the top rated horses from 26 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 19.66 units returned to 26 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -24.38%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 2 winners from the second rated horses from 27 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 9.12 units returned to 27 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -66.22%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 4 winners from the third rated horses from 27 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 27.12 units returned to 27 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 0.44%

Non Handicap Races - Top Rated Horse - There were 7 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 4 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 57.14%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 10.16 units returned to 7 units staked. The Top Rated Non-Handicap Profit Index was, thus, 45.14%

Non Handicap Races - Top Three Rated Horses - There were 7 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 5 Top Three Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for the Top Three Rated Horses) was 71.43%

Investment Betting

There were two Investment Betting selections (using the new R8 based system) yesterday...

Lingfield - 13:10 - Al Marmar - 1st @ 1.44 ISP (1.50 BSP)

Lingfield 13:40 - Pink Crystal - 1st @ 1.22 ISP (1.26 BSP)

Investment Betting has been doing rather well recently with a 48.9% strike rate and a 17.10% profit to stakes (to BSP.)

EarlyBird Ratings
