Good morning...

Well, back to earth with a bump yesterday.

After three great days we only managed to get a strike rate for the top rated horse of a lowly 26.67%

Actually, I'm quite happy with that; it's 1.01% higher than the average strike rate for the year to date and so I guess I can't really complain.

Anyway, I have a horrible feeling that I may have some good news to impart either later on today or first thing tomorrow...

You see, I'm staring at a screen which is full to brimming with...

Speed Ratings!

Anyway, I'll talk about that once I've double checked them, for the moment let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 26.67%.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 36.72 units returned to 48 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, 76.5%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 10.4 units returned to 15 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 69.33%

2nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the second rated horse in all of the races you would have had 13.32 units returned to 17 units staked. The Second Rated Profit Index was, thus, 78.35%

3nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the third rated horse in all of the races you would have had 13 units returned to 16 units staked. The Third Rated Profit Index was, thus, 81.25%

Forecasts

There was 1 forecast yesterday.

Catterick 14:00:00 - The CSF paid £10.84

Reverse Forecasts

There were 2 reverse forecasts yesterday.

Leicester 15:20:00 - The CSF paid £7.58

Leicester 15:50:00 - The CSF paid £2.24

Live Ratings

There were three non-runners yesterday.

Leicester 14:20 - Our top rated horse was a non-runner. The Live Ratings promoted our second and third rated horses to the new top two rated horses and brought in Magical Man as the new third rated horse.

Gentle George won the race and Magical Man came third.

Catterick 16:30 - Our third rated horse was a non-runner. The Live Ratings brought in Oscatara as the new third rated horse.

Our top rated horse won the race and Oscatara came third.

Leicester 17:00 - Our top rated horse was a non-runner. The Live Ratings promoted our second and third rated horse to the new top two rated horses and brought in Blake Dean as the new third rated horse.

Our new top rated horse won the race and the new second rated horse came second. Thus, the live ratings generated a new Forecast which paid £46.68

Overview...

The Live Ratings gave us an additional 2 winners for the top rated horse.

This improved our strike rate from 26.67% to 35.29%

Today

Today's early test ratings show 20 rated races from three meetings.

I'm not going to hang around to say any more because I'm really rather to get back to drooling over my Speed Ratings!
