Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Another decent day yesterday.

And, once again, you would have made a level stakes profit if you had blindly backed the top three rated horses in every race.

As there are no All Weather races (and, obviously, no Flat Turf races) today, there is no point in publishing the speed ratings.

However, that does allow me to load some dummy data so that I can do a test run in preparation for tomorrow.

And speaking of tomorrow;

I'll be doing a Cheltenham Special edition of the ratings for the next few days. It will show all the horses in each race for the festival races.

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 25%.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 59.11 units returned to 57 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, 3.7%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 17.86 units returned to 20 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -10.7%

2nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the second rated horse in all of the races you would have had 26.75 units returned to 18 units staked. The Second Rated Profit Index was, thus, 48.61%

3nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the third rated horse in all of the races you would have had 14.5 units returned to 19 units staked. The Third Rated Profit Index was, thus, -23.68%
