Good morning...

Well, Cheltenham is here and we did well at last year's festival.

I'm going to be spending the afternoon watching the races so I doubt that I'll get much work done today.

In any case...

I don't really want to make any code changes in case something gets messed up and, as a result, the ratings are delayed.

So, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 22.22%.
The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 56.5 units returned to 54 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, 4.63%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 24.25 units returned to 18 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 34.72%

2nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the second rated horse in all of the races you would have had 11.5 units returned to 18 units staked. The Second Rated Profit Index was, thus, -36.11%

3nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the third rated horse in all of the races you would have had 20.75 units returned to 18 units staked. The Third Rated Profit Index was, thus, 15.28%

Today's early test ratings show 27 rated races from four meetings.

All of the Cheltenham races look very tight, as far as the top three rated horses.
