Good morning...

I realised, yesterday afternoon...

That I had forgotten (on Tuesday) to mention that yesterday was a Bank Holiday in France.

Thus, no Morning News yesterday.

Normally, on November 11th, there is a special service at the church and anyone with past military service puts on their medals and stands in the market square in memory of their fallen colleagues.

Yesterday, because of Covid 19, the market square was empty.

It was rather poignant in a strange sort of way.

3rd Rated Horse - There were 4 winners from the third rated horses from 26 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 20.7 units returned to 26 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -20.38%

Non Handicap Races - Top Rated Horse - There were 11 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 3 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 27.27%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 3.24 units returned to 11 units staked. The Top Rated Non-Handicap Profit Index was, thus, -70.55%

He goes to the emergency room.
