Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

A better day, yesterday and I decided to spend some time looking at the races to ensure that the ratings are doing their job.

To be honest, a strike rate of 31.43% for the top rated horse is pretty decent and I'm not too upset about that.

There were a few late AW races at Dundalk where the ratings didn't work and I need to try to understand why that happened.

However, overall I'm quite comfortable with the results.

And, to top it all, our Banker's Bet won.

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 31.43%.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 84.43 units returned to 98 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -13.85%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 31.1 units returned to 35 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -11.14%

2nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the second rated horse in all of the races you would have had 26.67 units returned to 30 units staked. The Second Rated Profit Index was, thus, -11.1%

3nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the third rated horse in all of the races you would have had 26.66 units returned to 33 units staked. The Third Rated Profit Index was, thus, -19.21%
