Good morning...
A big day's racing, yesterday.
And a nice day off for me.
A decent strike rate for the top rated horse and one that I'm not really expecting at the end of the jumps season and the start of the Flat.
Still, I'm not complaining.
As I've had a couple of days off, I'm a bit behind with finishing my Winter Upgrades and I've also got a couple of spreadsheets with historical speed rating figures to analyse.
So, a busy week for me...
Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....
Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 30.36%.
The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 138.7 units returned to 168 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -17.44%
Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 50.57 units returned to 56 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -9.7%
2nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the second rated horse in all of the races you would have had 41.63 units returned to 53 units staked. The Second Rated Profit Index was, thus, -21.45%
3nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the third rated horse in all of the races you would have had 46.5 units returned to 59 units staked. The Third Rated Profit Index was, thus, -21.19%

Today's early test ratings show 29 rated races from four meetings.
Every race is rated.
I hope, over the next few days, to be able to start reporting on the final Winter Upgrades.
And then I can move on to working on my own betting strategy.
Have a great day's racing!
