Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Firstly, I'd like to thank those of you who have offered me your systems (public and private) to bolster my Portfolio.

We had a Portfolio bet yesterday and...

It won!

You know, I think that I may have got this whole Portfolio thing slightly wrong.

Initially I wanted just one bet a day but there's no reason why, in addition to the Banker's Bet and the Chancer's Bet, on some days, if there are additional selections (which meet suitably stringent criteria) we don't show those as well.

That would allow us a silly accumulator every now and again.

I'm fully back at work now (and raring to go); I had to take a couple of days off as I had to have my 16 year old cat put to sleep on Saturday. It might sound silly but it rather upset me.

Still, life goes on.

Anyway, enough about that, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 33.33%.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 28.9 units returned to 61 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -62.62%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 15.27 units returned to 21 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -27.29%

2nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the second rated horse in all of the races you would have had 0 units returned to 20 units staked. The Second Rated Profit Index was, thus, -100%

3nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the third rated horse in all of the races you would have had 13.63 units returned to 20 units staked. The Third Rated Profit Index was, thus, -31.85%

Today

Today's early test ratings show 40 rated races from six meetings.

I've got my hands full, today, putting the final touches to the speed ratings. Currently I have to manually generate the speed ratings every morning and I need to automate that process. Once that is done I shall get back to finishing the Builder and then...

It's all downhill with just the remaining Winter Upgrades to be finished off.

I'm also going to be looking at some of your Public systems today, to see if they would be a good fit for the Portfolio.

Have a great day's racing!

5 star ratingsOnce again, if you've got anything to say about Focus Ratings, please wander over to the Focus Ratings Review at Tipsters Review and have your say.

The income that we make from sign ups from that site keeps me in Red Wine and Smelly Cheese!

As always...

My kindest regards
