Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Another pretty decent day, yesterday.

As I was watching the results coming in I did think that, although we might not have got so many top rated winners, we were getting plenty of winners from the top three rated horses.

I have to admit that I'm pretty surprised that we're running at a strike rate of 27.77% for the month so far (especially as I still have to fix the one day where the results weren't properly computed and, thus, are shown as 0% - I'll get that fixed today.

Last April we achieved a strike rate of 23.71% and...

I know that bugs have been fixed and, to a certain extent, the ratings are self-learning but,

The massive jump in strike rate seems pretty strange to me.

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 25.81%.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 88.67 units returned to 96 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -7.64%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 27.06 units returned to 31 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -12.71%

2nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the second rated horse in all of the races you would have had 18.61 units returned to 33 units staked. The Second Rated Profit Index was, thus, -43.61%

3nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the third rated horse in all of the races you would have had 43 units returned to 32 units staked. The Third Rated Profit Index was, thus, 34.38%
