Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Pretty good results for yesterday.

And a host of high priced winners as well.

However...

Even on a mundane Monday,

There were 22 non runners, after the publication of the morning ratings.

This dramatically affects the ratings (which is why we have the Live Ratings) and, in theory, will affect the results.

However. let's not be too negative as...

Blindly backing the top rated horse (or the top three rated horses; and, strangely enough, the third rated horse) yesterday would have been profitable.

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 27.27%.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 114.62 units returned to 102 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, 12.37%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 45.5 units returned to 33 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 37.88%

2nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the second rated horse in all of the races you would have had 19.62 units returned to 33 units staked. The Second Rated Profit Index was, thus, -40.55%

3nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the third rated horse in all of the races you would have had 49.5 units returned to 36 units staked. The Third Rated Profit Index was, thus, 37.5%
