Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

So, once again...

The strike rate wasn't stand out but,

It was the prices that made it all work.

From today I shall also be reporting the strike rate from the Live Ratings,

As well as the morning ratings as there are more and more non-runners now that the Flat Turf season has started.

And, once again...

Yesterday you could have blindly backed every top rated, every top three rated and every third rated horse and made a profit.

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 22.86%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 23.68%.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 111.72 units returned to 108 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, 3.44%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 35.59 units returned to 35 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 1.69%

2nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the second rated horse in all of the races you would have had 35.63 units returned to 37 units staked. The Second Rated Profit Index was, thus, 96.3%

3nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the third rated horse in all of the races you would have had 40.5 units returned to 36 units staked. The Third Rated Profit Index was, thus, 12.5%

Today's early test ratings show 40 rated races from six meetings.

I am still struggling getting my new server up and running (and synchronised with the live server) but should be getting that finished today. It's been 15 years since I built a server and I seem to have forgotten most of what I must have once known about building SCSI Raid arrays.

Or, perhaps I'm just getting old.

Have a great day's racing!

5 star ratingsOnce again, if you've got anything to say about Focus Ratings, please wander over to the Focus Ratings Review at Tipsters Review and have your say.

The income that we make from sign ups from that site keeps me in Red Wine and Smelly Cheese!

As always...

My kindest regards
