Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Another blistering day, yesterday.

A day when, by blindly backing the top rated horse in every race, you would have made a level stakes profit.

And that goes for the second rated horse as well.

With one big Tricast/Trifecta (The Tricast paid £60.74 - The Trifecta paid £52.60), it would have been profitable to do a £1 Trifecta on every one of the 29 races.

Obviously, it would have been far more profitable to have done the Tricast on all the 12 qualifying races (Handicaps with 8 runners or more.)

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 37.93%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 36.67%.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 80.42 units returned to 83 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -3.11%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 37.18 units returned to 29 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 28.21%

2nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the second rated horse in all of the races you would have had 30.99 units returned to 25 units staked. The Second Rated Profit Index was, thus, 23.96%

3nd Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the third rated horse in all of the races you would have had 12.25 units returned to 29 units staked. The Third Rated Profit Index was, thus, -57.76%
