Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Wow, what a blistering day, yesterday!

Not only was blindly backing the top rated horse profitable to level stakes but,

You'd have also made a profit if you had done the forecast or the trifecta in every race as well!

Whilst watching the results coming in, I did do some coding and...

From today, there should be profit/loss figures on the systems selections.

However, I do have to say that editing that particular part of the code is a bit like trying to knit a jumper, blindfold...

But, using freshly caught live eels rather than wool!

Still, it'll either work or it won't work and I'll be sat in front of the computer, ready to act in case it all goes horribly wrong.

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 36.67%.

Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 31.43% from all 35 Races (including previously unrated races.)

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 70.9 units returned to 92 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -22.93%

Top Rated Horse - There were 31.1 winners from the top rated horses from 30 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 31.1 units returned to 30 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 3.67%

Top Rated Horse - There were 22.55 winners from the second rated horses from 32 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 22.55 units returned to 32 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus,-29.53%

Top Rated Horse - There were 17.25 winners from the third rated horses from 30 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 17.25 units returned to 30 units staked. The 3nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -42.95%

Today

Today's early test ratings show 38 rated races from six meetings.

Today, I shall be re-working the Results page to better display the choice of results that we now have available.

And, also implementing some of the other Winter Updates that you have asked for.

As a result (no pun intended), there may be times today when the Results page isn't available for a few minutes at a time.

I apologise in advance for that.

Have a great day's racing!
