Good morning...

I've not got much to say about yesterday...

We have good days and, sometimes, we have bad days.

It all averages out in the end and we're currently running at a strike rate (for our top rated horse) for May 2015 of 25.81% compared to 25.26% for May 2014.

For the strategy that I've been working on recently the strike rate was equally as low with only 9 of the 22 selections winning (40.90%.)

However, it did yield 23.34 points (assuming a 5% Betfair commission) for the 22 points staked so,

Even on a weak day, place betting the top three rated horse with the highest yield in races of 8 horses or more was profitable.

That's the last three days in a row.

Oh, and almost forgot, our Chancers Bet won, as well!

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 70.78 units returned to 113 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -37.36%

Top Rated Horse - There were 6 winners from the top rated horses from 36 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 24.9 units returned to 36 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -30.83%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 8 winners from the second rated horses from 37 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 27.88 units returned to 37 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -24.65%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 3 winners from the third rated horses from 40 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 18 units returned to 40 units staked. The 3nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -55%
