Good morning...
There's not much that I can say about yesterday...
It was an average day and we got average results.
Timeform still aren't showing Betfair prices so there's not much that I can say about my new strategy.
As a result, I shall be doing weekly round up posts about this every Sunday (even if Timeform do get their act together.)
The ratings went out fine yesterday and I'll be doing some more work to ensure that that happens every day from now on.
From Tuesday I shall try to add some value to this Morning News post by doing a review of some of the previous day's races or...
Doing some analysis on one of today's races.
I do know that this might be a very boring email for you to read every day but I do have to show that I'm on top of the results, the successes and, when they occur, the failures.
Anyway, we'll see how that works out, for now let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....
Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 25%.
Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 24%.
Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 24.07% from all 54 Races (including previously unrated races.)
The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 119.59 units returned to 143 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -16.37%
Top Rated Horse - There were 12 winners from the top rated horses from 48 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 43.67 units returned to 48 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -9.02%
2nd Rated Horse - There were 9 winners from the second rated horses from 49 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 43.04 units returned to 49 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -12.16%
3rd Rated Horse - There were 7 winners from the third rated horses from 46 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 32.88 units returned to 46 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -28.52%
