Good morning...

Well, last year we had a strike rate (for the top rated horse) of 57.14% for the Investec Epsom Derby.

This year we could only manage 42.86% but...

Just like last year, we got the first and second horse in the right order in the Derby.

And, to cap it all, our Banker's Bet won.

I've not got too much else to say other than, had you blindly done the forecast in every race yesterday, you'd have have made a level stakes profit.

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 129.24 units returned to 158 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -18.2%

Top Rated Horse - There were 14 winners from the top rated horses from 54 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 48.22 units returned to 54 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -10.7%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 10 winners from the second rated horses from 50 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 50.54 units returned to 50 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 1.08%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 7 winners from the third rated horses from 54 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 30.48 units returned to 54 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -43.56%
