Good morning...

One of the things that I shall be looking at this week...

Is how to use the various services that Focus Ratings members get to produce a portfolio of selections.

So, I shall be looking at the performance of the Early Bird selections, the Investment Betting selections and he new R9 Portfolio selections to see if there any trends,

Specifically if the same horse is selected by all three services.

Focus Ratings

Here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 23.81%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 22.73%.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 30.79 units returned to 63 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -51.13%

Top Rated Horse - There were 5 winners from the top rated horses from 21 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 11.48 units returned to 21 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -45.33%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 2 winners from the second rated horses from 20 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 9.44 units returned to 20 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -52.8%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 3 winners from the third rated horses from 22 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 9.87 units returned to 22 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -55.14%

Non Handicap Races - Top Rated Horse - There were 8 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 3 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 37.5%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 4.73 units returned to 8 units staked. The Top Rated Non-Handicap Profit Index was, thus, -40.87%

Non Handicap Races - Top Three Rated Horses - There were 8 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 7 Top Three Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for the Top Three Rated Horses) was 87.5%

Investment Betting

There were no Investment Betting selections (using the new R8 based system) yesterday...

Investment Betting has been doing rather well recently with a 56.50% strike rate and a 25.90% profit to stakes (to BSP.)

EarlyBird Ratings

There were no Diamonds and Gold (Platinum) selections yesterday...
