After the problems that I've had recently I've got a bit behind in my admin work.
Rather than do things in logical chronological order I have decided to do one service at a time and continue until all services are up to date.
Today I shall be starting with Place Profits; I have some improvements to implement - these will automate the selections and allow the results to be updated far faster.
I am aware that some Place Profits members have unsubscribed but are still receiving their selections - this is a problem with my membership software but I believe that I have now fixed it. I shall manually sort out the discrepancies today. If you (Place Profits members) stop receiving selections but believe that you should be receiving them, please let me know and I'll investigate and sort things out.
Focus Ratings Daily Bets...
I have been analyzing the historic results for multiple betting the non-handicap R10 top rated horses and...
Whilst, on a daily basis, it looks like we get lots of winners from those horses, the overall strike rate isn't good enough for a multiple betting system.
For example, if we have 3 non-handicap R10 top rated horses then we can do a Patent.
However, if one of those horses doesn't win then we lose 1 Win bet, 2 Double bets and the Accumulator - leaving just 2 win bets and 1 double which, probably won't make the profit to cover the 4 losing bets.
All is not bad, though...
If we concentrate on the blindly profitable race types then things start to make sense.
From these I can create a Banker's Bet, a Chancer's Bet and a Double on those 2 horses.
I can also create an accumulator from all the potential selections of which only 1 will be chosen for the Banker's bet and 1 for the Chancer's bet.
Yesterday's suggestions (please bear in mind that this is Beta testing)...
There were 4 non-handicap R10 top rated horses yesterday...
Beverley - 13:35 - Beautiful Aisling - 1st @ 1.48 BSP
Salisbury - 13:55 - American In Paris - 3rd
Salisbury - 14:30 - Time Step - 2nd
Leopardstown - 18:20 - Only - 1st @ 1.36 BSP
To continue with my old strategy (for two bets a day) there was one bet...
The Chancer's Bet (high profits but slightly more risky) is...
There are no selections today.
The Banker's Bet (high strike rate but lower prices) is...
Salisbury - 14:30 - Time Step - 2nd
I have an idea that we should any potential selections for the Chancer's Bet and Banker's Bet as our selections for our multiple bets.
For example, today there were two potential selections for the Banker's Bet...
Beverley - 13:35 - Beautiful Aisling - 1st @ 1.48 BSP
Salisbury - 14:30 - Time Step - 2nd
I chose Time Step as it has the higher Confidence level but, according to my theory we should use those two horses (and any potential selections for the Chancer's Bet) as the basis for the multiple bets.
So...
According to this, today we would be doing a win bet on both of those horses and, also, a double on them. I shall come up with definitive rules tomorrow.
I shall be continuing with investigating this for the next few days. I shall be publishing the selections in the Morning News until I am happy that there is a decent strategy and then Focus Ratings members will be able to get the selections emailed to them for free.

The poker game...
Two couples were playing poker one evening.
Jim accidentally dropped some cards on the floor.
When he bent down under the table to pick them up, he noticed Les' wife, Sue, wasn't wearing any underwear under her dress!
Shocked by this, Jim, upon trying to sit back up again, hit his head on the table and emerged red-faced.
Later, Jim went to the kitchen to get some refreshments.
Les' wife followed and asked, "Did you see anything that you like under there?"
Surprised by her boldness, Jim admitted that, well, indeed he did.
She said, "Well, you can have it, but it will cost you $500."
After taking a minute or two to assess the financial and moral costs of this offer, Jim confirmed that he was interested.
Sue told him that since her husband Les played golf Friday afternoons and Jim didn't, Jim should be at her house around 2:00 pm Friday afternoon.
When Friday rolled around, Jim showed up at Les' house at 2:00 pm sharp, and after paying Sue the agreed sum of $500 -- they went to the bedroom and closed their transaction as agreed.
Jim quickly dressed and left.
As usual, Les came home from golf at 6:00 pm and upon arriving, asked his wife, "Did Jim come by the house this afternoon?"
With a lump in her throat Sue answered, "Why yes, he did stop by for a few minutes this afternoon."
Her heart nearly skipped a beat when her husband curtly asked, "And did he give you $500?"
Sue, using her best poker face, replied, "Well, yes, in fact he did give me $500."
Bob, with a satisfied look on his face, surprised his wife by saying, "He came by the golf club this morning and borrowed $500 from me.
He promised he'd stop by our house this afternoon on his way home and pay me back."
Whatever you are up to today...
Stay safe and healthy.
As always...
My kindest regards
