Yesterday was a pretty good day all round with Investment Betting, in particular, doing well by getting 6 out of its 8 selections.
Intelligent Betting is running at a 63.70% Strike Rate and a 20.50% Profit on Stakes for the last exact month.
Trainer/Jockey Strike Rate Statistics...
I've had a bit of feedback about the Trainer/Jockey Strike Rate statistics that I have been working on.
As well as the eBooks I shall also be producing a daily ratings PDF which will show the new data for that day's races.
This should be used in conjunction with whichever ratings you use.
This PDF will be distributed to members of Focus Ratings. Advance Ratings, EarlyBird Ratings and paid members of Intelligent Betting.
I will create a sample for all to see; I really think that, by checking for good trainer strike rates or Trainer/Jockey strike rates will help identify those races where members of the above services will have an edge over everyone else.
To use the example I showed yesterday...
Although sites like the Racing Post will give you individual Trainer or Jockey stats, I am pretty sure that nowhere else can you research the best Trainer/Jockey combinations for Chepstow, for example.
And, certainly nowhere shows ratings based, not upon the horse's historical performance, but the historical performance of the Trainer and/or Jockey.
Once I've got the PDF up and running, I'll use it to generate an example; I know how I think it should work but it is difficult to explain.
However, the theory is...
Every race will be rated, not on the horse's performance but on the Trainer/Jockey historical performance.
So, just say there is a race at Chepstow today and A P O'Brien has a horse there and it is being ridden by Ryan Moore. In the new Trainer/Jockey ratings that would stand out as, together, they have a 100% strike rate over 5 races over the last year.
That wouldn't be apparent on the normal ratings which, of course, focus more on the horse's historical performance.
So, if in a ficticious example there was an A P O'Brien horse being ridden by Ryan Moore I would be tempted to look at the normal ratings to check out that horse as, over the last year, every A P O'Brien horse being ridden by Ryan Moore has won the race...
Why would today's horse be any different?
Anyway, that's the theory but, once again, it'll be easier to explain once I have a real world example. Once I've got the PDF up and running, I'll use it to generate an example; I know how I think it should work but it is difficult to explain.

Never Text an Apology...
THE ORIGINAL TEXT MESSAGE:
Hi Bob, This is Alan next door. I’m sorry buddy, but I have a confession to make to you. I've been riddled with guilt these past few months and have been trying to pluck up the courage to tell you to your face, but I am at least now telling in text as I can’t live with myself a moment longer without you knowing. The truth is I have been sharing your wife, day and night when you're not around. In fact, probably more than. you. I haven’t been getting it at home recently, but that's no excuse, I know. The temptation was just too much. I can no longer live with the guilt and I hope you will accept my sincerest apologies and forgive me. I promise that it won't happen again. Please come up with a fee for usage, and I'll pay you.
Regards, Alan.
THE ACTIONS:
Bob, feeling insulted and betrayed, grabbed his gun, and shot his neighbor dead. He returned home where he poured himself a stiff drink and sat down on the sofa. He took out his phone where he saw he has a subsequent message from his neighbor.THE SECOND MESSAGE:
Hi Bob, This is Alan next door again. Sorry about the slight typo on my last text. I expect you worked it out anyway, but as I’m sure you noticed that my Autocorrect changed ‘Wi-Fi’ To ‘Wife’. Technology hey?!? Hope you saw the funny side of that.
Regards, Alan.
Whatever you are up to today...
Stay safe and healthy.
As always...
My kindest regards
