Good morning...

A small medical issue has had me off work for the last week or so...

Thus, the lack of Morning News posts over the last 8 days.

However, all is better now and I shall spend the rest of the week catching up with what I have missed out on.

I hope to have the backlog cleared by Monday of next week.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 92.48 units returned to 73 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, 26.68%

Top Rated Horse - There were 9 winners from the top rated horses from 26 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 33.88 units returned to 26 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 30.31%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 9 winners from the second rated horses from 25 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 45.6 units returned to 25 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 82.4%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 2 winners from the third rated horses from 22 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 13 units returned to 22 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -40.91%

Non Handicap Races - Top Rated Horse - There were 8 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 4 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 50%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 9.02 units returned to 8 units staked. The Top Rated Non-Handicap Profit Index was, thus, 12.75%

Something to make you smile...

Marriage Counseling...

A husband and wife came for counselling after 25 years of marriage. When asked what the problem was, the wife went into an angry tirade listing each and every problem they had ever had in the 25 years they had been married.

She went on and on: neglect, lack of intimacy, emptiness, loneliness, feeling unloved and unloveable, a long list of unmet needs she had endured over the course of their quarter century of marriage.

Finally, after allowing this to go on for a sufficient length of time, the therapist stood up, walked around his desk and, asking the wife to stand, embraced her and kissed her passionately on the mouth.

The woman shut up and, in a daze, quietly sat down;. The therapist turned to the husband and said, "This is what your wife needs at least seven times a week. Do you think you can do this?"

The husband thought for a moment and replied, "Well, Doc, I can drop her off here on Mondays and Wednesdays, but on the other days I play golf."
