Good morning...
Another 30% strike rate day yesterday...
Which gives us a nice start to the month.
And our Portfolio bet won at a reasonable price.
The new Place Betting Strategy selections all failed to perform but,
It is early days.
Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....
Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 30.23%.
Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 27.66%.
Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 29.17% from all 48 Races (including previously unrated races.)
The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 89.08 units returned to 125 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -28.74%
Top Rated Horse - There were 13 winners from the top rated horses from 43 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 31.62 units returned to 43 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -26.47%
2nd Rated Horse - There were 6 winners from the second rated horses from 40 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 17.58 units returned to 40 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -56.05%
3rd Rated Horse - There were 6 winners from the third rated horses from 42 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 39.88 units returned to 42 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -5.05%

The selections for yesterday were...
1). Perth 14:30 - Drumhart - unplaced
2). Lingfield (AW) 14:40 - Priory - unplaced
3). Newbury 19:40 - Scottish Command - unplaced
So, after two days we are running at a strike rate of 25% (2 winners from 8 selections) and have had 8.113 points returned to 8 points staked (assuming a Betfair commission of 5%.)
That gives us a profit on investment of 1.41%.
Today's early test ratings show 45 rated races from seven meetings.
