Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Well, this has to be the best start to a month that I can remember.

A 30% strike rate for the top rated horse is all I've ever aimed for and...

For the first three days of July we are running at that.

And, although it's been uncomfortably hot, I have made major headway into the backlog of work.

And have even managed to come up with a strategy for place betting on handicap races.

I'll be publishing that later today.

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 29.55%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 29.21%.

Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 28.26% from all 46 Races (including previously unrated races.)

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 108.25 units returned to 127 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -14.76%

Top Rated Horse - There were 13 winners from the top rated horses from 44 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 34.3 units returned to 44 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -22.05%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 10 winners from the second rated horses from 43 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 33.7 units returned to 43 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -21.63%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 5 winners from the third rated horses from 40 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 40.25 units returned to 40 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 0.63%
