Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

So, what do I say about yesterday?

A return to form and a pretty decent strike rate for the top rated horse.

If you had put a quid on every top rated horse you would have made £4.88 in profits.

A decent day for the new Place Betting Strategy too.

4.5745 points returned to the 3 points staked.

So, just over a 50% profit on investment.

If you had blindly done the forecast in every race you'd have made thruppence.

If you had blindly done the trifecta in every race you'd have had £150.10 returned to £47.00 staked

If you had blindly done the combination trifecta in every race you'd have had £407.20 returned to £282.00 staked.

I've been doing some thinking about staking and have just published a post about it here... A Staking Strategy

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 29.55%.

Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 26.53% from all 49 Races (including previously unrated races.)

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 115.05 units returned to 132 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -12.84%

Top Rated Horse - There were 13 winners from the top rated horses from 44 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 48.86 units returned to 44 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 11.05%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 10 winners from the second rated horses from 47 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 35.34 units returned to 47 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -24.81%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 10 winners from the third rated horses from 41 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 30.85 units returned to 41 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -24.76%
