Good morning...

Another major milestone was reached yesterday...

With the migration to my new management system.

Today I have to implement the task management part - that should I ensure that I get every regular job done on time.

I can see the benefits of the new system already.

Although it's been a hassle getting it done, I'm finding that I now have far more time to concentrate on improving the service and investigating new strategies.

Yesterday, for example, I spent time investigating a new possible angle on the Intelligent-Betting System Selections.

In the past that would have been something that would have gone on the To-Do list and then...

Totally forgotten.

The other main job for me for today, and the rest of the week, is to sort out the Focus Ratings price rise.

Obviously, pretty much every one of my services is somehow based upon Focus Ratings.

The last time I put the price up was over 7 years ago.

If you are currently a Focus Ratings member, nothing changes for you - you always pay the price that you paid when you first joined.

The price rise will only apply to those people who join after the price rise.

One of the things that I need to think about is to have an option to subscribe to Focus Ratings in such a way that gives the member full access to all services except Intelligent Betting (which is a service that I share with Roy.)

So, over the next few weeks, I shall be contacting each of you individually to let you know what you currently subscribe to, what you are paying, what you are missing out on and what your options are.

This will also have the benefit for me to help me audit my member list.

Back to Horse Racing...

Racing-Index currently shows that all seven of the services that I proof to it are profitable for the last exact month.

Although I was a bit miffed that, after waffling on about Portfolio Betting (both the R9 Portfolio Betting selections and the Portfolio-Betting.com selections), neither service actually produced any selections yesterday.

Still, the other services did reasonably well with Advance Ratings System Selections leading the pack with 2 winners out of 5 selections, including one at 9.82 BSP.

So, that's about it for me today.

On to my BAU (Business as Usual) work such as checking the backups have run, checking the server logs and so forth.

Only 2 hours and 22 minutes (not that I'm counting) until the Boulangerie opens.

In about an hour's time, if I open my window, I'll be able to smell the freshly baked croissants - the smell will drive me crazy until I can wander across the market square to check if today's croissants are as good as they smell.

Croissants (and Pain Au Raisins) are, to me...

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 45.01 units returned to 76 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -40.78%

Top Rated Horse - There were 8 winners from the top rated horses from 25 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 23.64 units returned to 25 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -5.44%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 6 winners from the second rated horses from 25 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 16.13 units returned to 25 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -35.48%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 2 winners from the third rated horses from 26 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 5.24 units returned to 26 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -79.85%

Non Handicap Races - Top Rated Horse - There were 8 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 3 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 37.5%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 7.29 units returned to 8 units staked. The Top Rated Non-Handicap Profit Index was, thus, -8.87%

Non Handicap Races - Top Three Rated Horses - There were 8 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 5 Top Three Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for the Top Three Rated Horses) was 62.5%
