Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Now, I've sort of noticed that...

Everytime that I take a day off and go to the seaside for a paddle,

We have a pretty decent day with the ratings.

It was actually worth taking some time off and away from the computers.

A sort of battery recharging exercise.

Just to prove that the day wasn't too unproductive...

Jill and I built a sandcastle.

Well, I did most of the building and Jill did the decorating as, as we all know, girlies are crap at building sand castles.

And, you know...

It gave me a nice sense of satisfaction; a sense that sometimes I don't get when I spend a day surrounded by computers, sweating over spreadsheets.

And, for my first sand castle in about 38 years...

I'm pretty proud of it!

focus-ratings-morning news

A day at the beach sort of fires me up and inspires me for the coming week at work.

Today is largely going to be a catch up day.

I shall start by going through all my outstanding emails, member by member, so...

Any of you who are waiting for replies, you should get one today.

Once that is done, I'll be doing a monthly report.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be more of the same but, for Thursday, I have a major upgrade to the Speed Ratings scheduled and, as a result, I shall be offline for most of the day.

focus-ratings-morning news

Then I shall be working on the possibility of starting a small business, spending the summers on the beach, teaching youngsters (and the young at heart) how to build sand castles.

With the income from that and the profits from the new Place Betting Strategy, I'll be in red wine and smelly cheese for the rest of my life!

The more computer savvy of you will have noticed that I have photoshopped my belly to make it look rather larger than it normally is!

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 29.63%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 29.63%.

Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 32.14% from all 28 Races (including previously unrated races.)

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 88.34 units returned to 75 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, 17.79%

Top Rated Horse - There were 8 winners from the top rated horses from 27 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 33.34 units returned to 27 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 23.48%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 6 winners from the second rated horses from 23 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 44.25 units returned to 23 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 92.39%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 3 winners from the third rated horses from 25 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 10.75 units returned to 25 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -57%

Chepstow 16:15 Midnight Rider (1) 6.00 7.17
Market Rasen 17:05 The Kvilleken (4) 6.00 6.60
Chester 17:25 Mysterial (8) 26.00 44.09

I had a nice email from one member waiting for me when I got back from the beach...

Nice one today, Keith – your ratings spot on.

Had a fiver on Mysterial – at 44 NICE ONE!

Had some other good ones with Baraweez, Sound advice and Bold Appeal. My only disappointment was Hydrant.

Still, a very good day for the betting bank.

Which is sort of mathematical proof that I need to go to the beach more often!
