Good morning...

Things seem to be coming together...

And it looks like I'll be working through the weekend to get them finished off.

The tools that I am working on are only available to full members of Intelligent Betting.

The first of which is Easy Track. Now, this is a simple horse tracking service that allows you to set up alerts so that you get an email when a horse is running. The difference between this and the many other horse tracking services out there is that you can input a combination of filters such as...

Horse with a certain Jockey. Or, you could forget the horse and set up an alert for a Trainer running any horse at a certain course.

Or, perhaps an alert for any Trainer/Jockey combination.

I will be adding additional filters once I've got some feedback from the Forum at Intelligent Betting.

These might be Race Code so that you could set up an alert for a particular horse but, only when it is running on an All Weather surface.

The next tool will be Easy Stake. Now this is essentially a Dutching calculator but, rather than working out the stakes for a traditional Dutch bet (where you are betting on multiple horses in the same race), this allows you to calculate the optimal stakes for multiple horses running in different races. I intend to use this for one of my services (possibly the Early Bird Ratings Platinum selections as they are doing very well at the moment) for a limited period to prove that, by adjusting your stakes according to a Reward/Risk Ratio, you actually make more money and...

At the end of the day, that's what it's all about.

The third tool is Easy Records. This will allow you to record your bets and produce Losing Run analysis and stuff like that.

I don't want to give timescales but Easy Track should be finished by Sunday with the first alerts being sent out on Monday morning. I have a free time slot early in the morning so you should expect to get your alerts shortly after 3am (GB/IRE time.)

In order to be honest and truly transparent with you...

I will now be publishing my task list on the Morning News.

You will be able to see what I am working on and, more importantly, what progress I am making.

Here are the current tasks...

T01). Work out a number of strategies to utilise R9 and provide Focus Rating members free Portfolio Betting selections across a number of different betting strategies (win backing, place backing, dutching, laying and, the other thing that I described that I don't know what it is called) on a daily basis.

T02). For Compass Ratings, display, on screen and via a email PDF, the twice weekly updated trainer/jockey win/place strike rates.

T03). For Compass Ratings, complete the eBook that explains all the weird and wonderful things that I have learned about Hong Kong Horse racing.

T04). Complete PaperTradeIt.com - a free site where you can privately log your bets and get Strike Rate, POI (to ISP and BSP) data and losing run analysis on those bets.

I'm trying to knock off the easy/quick jobs first in order to reduce the size of the list; the size of the list scares me sometimes and, believe me, I have twice as many jobs on the Admin/BAU (Business As Usual - things like automated scripts, backups and server log file analysis - stuff that all website owners have to do) task list to get through as well.

Non Handicap Races - Top Rated Horse - There were 2 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 0 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 0%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 0 units returned to 2 units staked. The Top Rated Non-Handicap Profit Index was, thus, -100%

Non Handicap Races - Top Three Rated Horses - There were 2 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 1 Top Three Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for the Top Three Rated Horses) was 50%
