Good morning...
I suppose that the highlight of the day should have been the 14:20 at Haydock where we got the Tricast/Trifecta in an 11 horse handicap.
The Tricast paid £287.56 - The Trifecta paid £404.70
However, for me the the real jewel was the 14:50 at Redcar where our first PBS selection won at 5.80 which meant...
That the other two PBS selections could take the day off and we'd still be in profit for the day.
Unfortunately, our other two PBS selections did just that!
Obviously, you would have been in profit yesterday had you blindly done the forecast in every race,
Or the reverse forecast, come to that.
Or the trifecta.
And the same goes for the combination trifecta.
I did think that I would be moaning about the high number of non-runners yesterday (there were a lot of them and they really mess up my ratings) but...
After the above results, it would seem churlish to complain.
Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....
Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 28.89%.
Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 27.66%.
Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 27.66% from all 47 Races (including previously unrated races.)
The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 115.77 units returned to 131 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -11.63%
Top Rated Horse - There were 13 winners from the top rated horses from 45 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 47.68 units returned to 45 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 5.96%
2nd Rated Horse - There were 11 winners from the second rated horses from 45 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 34.84 units returned to 45 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -22.58%
3rd Rated Horse - There were 4 winners from the third rated horses from 41 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 33.25 units returned to 41 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -18.9%

As I'm feeling chirpy...
A little joke.
There was an explosion at a local smelly cheese factory yesterday.
All that remains is de Brie.
Have a great day's racing!
