Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Well, I go out for the day and...

We have a disaster of a day at the races!

In fact, I'm quite glad that I went out for the day rather than sitting at home watching the results come in.

Watching the results come in must have been even more painful than my sunburn.

Which, once again, is pretty painful.

What is it about mad dogs and Englishmen that makes us go to the beach at the height of the mid-day sun?

And, for those of you who are interested...

The sandcastle was slightly too ambitious and, to put it into horse racing terms, fell at the first fence; I blame it on the Going although the problem was actually the wrong type of sand.

That's my excuse, anyway.

I can't do any work today as I have an update scheduled for Monday and I don't want anything to interfere with that and...

As I really don't want to sit at home and watch the results come in (after yesterday), Jill & I are going fishing instead.

Anyway, enough of that, I guess that we'll have to get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 9.3%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 10.34%.

Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 10.87% from all 46 Races (including previously unrated races.)

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 103.84 units returned to 125 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -16.93%

Top Rated Horse - There were 4 winners from the top rated horses from 43 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 12.25 units returned to 43 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -71.51%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 14 winners from the second rated horses from 40 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 60.59 units returned to 40 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 51.48%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 4 winners from the third rated horses from 42 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 31 units returned to 42 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -26.19%
