Good morning...

A better day for us, yesterday.

And we have broken into profit with the Place Betting Strategy in what is supposed to be our hardest month.

I'm starting to get a good, good feeling about this strategy.

Those of you who are early birds might have noticed that the server was down for about half an hour this morning.

And yes, it was all my fault!

Still, it's up and running now and I promise not to mess things up again.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 31.08 units returned to 77 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -59.64%

Top Rated Horse - There were 7 winners from the top rated horses from 26 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 17.33 units returned to 26 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -33.35%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 3 winners from the second rated horses from 26 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 10 units returned to 26 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -61.54%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 1 winners from the third rated horses from 25 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 3.75 units returned to 25 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -85%

We made a profit of 1.8285 points on the day and have made a profit of 4.6295 points for September.

For the new strategy we made a profit of 1.096326 points on the day and have made a profit of 0.278319 points for September.

I have added a new section to the spreadsheet to indicate the results should we ignore the odds on selections.

For the refined strategy (the one that you should be using) we made a profit of 1.38312 points on the day and have made a profit of 0.156279 points for September.
