Good morning...

A decent day yesterday with a strike rate (for the top rated horse) of over 30% (my target.)

You would have more than doubled your stakes had you done the forecast on every race.

I'd like to thank all of you who have sent in suggestions on how best to profit from the lowest yield horse and...

I shall be spending today trying to get some sort of strategy defined so that I can start the number crunching.

I'll update you on that tomorrow.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 101.16 units returned to 103 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -1.79%

Top Rated Horse - There were 11 winners from the top rated horses from 35 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 38.58 units returned to 35 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 10.23%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 9 winners from the second rated horses from 34 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 53.83 units returned to 34 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 58.32%

For the refined strategy (the one that you should be using) we made a loss of 0.678 points on the day. We have made a profit of 19.924725 points for October.

Rose Buds

The teenage granddaughter comes downstairs for her date with this see-through blouse on and no bra.

Her grandmother just pitched a fit, telling her not to dare go out like that!

The teenager tells her "Loosen up Grams. These are modern times. You gotta let your rosebuds show!" and
out she goes.

The next day the teenager comes downstairs, and the grandmother is sitting there with no top on.

The teenager wants to die.

She explains to her grandmother that she has friends coming over and that it is just not appropriate...

The grandmother says, "Loosen up, Sweetie. If you can show off your rosebuds, then I can display my hanging baskets.

Panties

A young couple, just married, were in their honeymoon suite on their wedding night. As they were undressing for bed, the husband -- who was a big burly man - tossed his trousers to his bride and said, "Here, put these on."

She put them on and the waist was twice the size of her body. "I cant wear your trousers," she said.

"That's right," said the husband, "and don't you ever forget it. I'm the man who wears the pants in this family."

With that she flipped him her panties and said, "Try these on."

He tried them on and found he could only get them on as far as his kneecaps. "Hell," he said. "I cant get into your panties!"
