Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

It must be nearly Christmas as...

Our Place Betting Strategy has now made a profit for the last two days.

Unless things go horrendously wrong, we will be in profit for this month for this strategy.

As far as the new strategy that I am working on is concerned...

The basic (unrefined) strategy had these results yesterday:

Newbury 13:20 - Frozen Force - Unplaced

Newbury 13:50 - Bedrock - Won @3.5 ISP

Cheltenham 14:10 - Exxaro - Unplaced

So, a little trickle of a profit for the day but every little counts.

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 21.88%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 20%.

Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 21.62% from all 37 Races (including previously unrated races.)

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 74.42 units returned to 95 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -21.66%

Top Rated Horse - There were 7 winners from the top rated horses from 32 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 30.16 units returned to 32 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -5.75%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 1 winners from the second rated horses from 31 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 3.5 units returned to 31 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -88.71%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 6 winners from the third rated horses from 32 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 40.76 units returned to 32 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 27.38%

Planting Peppers

An old father living alone in the country wanted to plant his pepper garden, but the ground was too hard and he was too old to do the work.

His only son who use to help him was in prison for robbing a bank.

The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his situation: "Dear Jake, I've been very depressed lately because it looks like I won't be able to plant my peppers this year.

You know how much your mother loved planting peppers this time of year, but I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot.

I know if you were here my troubles would have been over.

I know you would have been happy to dig the plot for me.

Love, Dad"

A few days later he received a letter from his son:

"Dear Dad, Don't dig up that garden!

That's where I buried the THINGS!

Love, Jake"

At 4:00 the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and dug up the entire area looking for the THINGS.

They apologized to the old man after not finding anything and left.

The next day the old man received another letter from his son.

"Dear Dad, Happy Fathers Day!

Go ahead and plant your peppers now.

That's the best I could do under the circumstances.

Love,Jake."

And one from me...
