Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Well, the rebuild of my laptop didn't quite go to plan as the backing up of it took far longer than I expected; I'll try again today.

I did manage to get my Mac and my Windows machines going though so it wasn't such a wasted day.

One of the members emailed me about the new strategy and I explained how it worked and what I was expecting from it.

I have decided to share that with you...

To be totally honest, I am hoping that you, the members, could bet the Place Betting Strategy and this new one to £2 stakes on Betfair and earn enough money to pay your subscriptions and have a decent meal out once a month.

Obviously, a silly £1 daily multiple bet (to 10p stakes) would add to the excitement.

One member recently did a £12.80 multiple bet (20p stakes) on these selections and won £5,000 - that's his subs paid for the year, a meal out for two every month and a nice summer holiday!

That's the way that I look at betting.

I'm not promising you Ferraris or Porches, I would like to be able to help you pay your subs and have a meal out for two, once a month, though.

These were yesterday's results...

Redcar 12:30 - Werenotfamousanymore - 2nd

Redcar 13:00 - First Wheat - 4th

Wexford 13:05 - Holy Water - Unplaced

Ayr 13:10 - John Monash - 3rd

Leicester 13:20 - Zaza Zest - NR

Galway 13:25 - Snaidhm - 3rd

So, no return from 5 points staked - there would have been a result from place betting though.

Still, more work to be done.

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Something to make you smile

A joke supplied by Derek H. who often supplies the daily joke - Ta for that, Derek..

A married man, Jack, wakes up with a huge hangover after a night out drinking with the boys.

He didn't even remember how he got home from the party.

As bad as he was feeling, he wondered if he did something wrong. Jack had to force himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins next to a glass of water on the side table.

Jack sits up and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. He takes the aspirins, cringes when he sees a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror.

Then he notices a note hanging on the corner of the mirror written in red with little hearts on it and a kiss mark from his wife in lipstick: "Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to get groceries to make your favorite dinner tonight.

I love you, darling! Love, Jill"

He stumbles into the kitchen and sure enough, there is a hot breakfast, steaming hot coffee, and the morning newspaper all waiting for him.

His son is also at the table, eating. Jack asks, "Son… what happened last night?"

"Well, you came home after three in the morning, drunk and out of your mind. You fell over the coffee table and broke it, and then you threw-up in the hallway, and got that black eye when you ran into the door."

Confused, he asked his son, "So, why is your mother in such a good mood, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me?"

His son replies, "Oh THAT! Well, when Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and tried to take your pants off, you screamed, 'Leave me alone, I'm married! I'm married!'"
