Good morning...
So, a pretty good day, yesterday.
Had you done the forecast on every race you would have made a small profit (£26.33 would have been returned to £21 staked in the qualifying races.)
However, had you done the reverse forecast in the 21 qualifying races, you would have had £101.70 returned to £42 staked.
Likewise, had you done the Tricast or Trifecta in all relevant races, you would have got a return of at least 8 times your stakes.
And had you blindly backed the top rated horse in every race, you would have made a profit of about 15% on your stakes.
I wish that I knew in advance when days like that pop up.
Anyway, enough of that, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....
Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 32%.
Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 32%.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 79.59 units returned to 69 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, 15.35%
Top Rated Horse - There were 8 winners from the top rated horses from 25 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 27.09 units returned to 25 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 8.36%
2nd Rated Horse - There were 5 winners from the second rated horses from 21 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 48.5 units returned to 21 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 130.95%
3rd Rated Horse - There were 1 winners from the third rated horses from 23 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 4 units returned to 23 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -82.61%

Anesthesia
My husband was just coming out of anesthesia after a series of tests in the hospital, and I was sitting at his bedside.
His eyes fluttered open, and he murmured, "You`re beautiful."
Flattered, I continued my vigil while he drifted back to sleep. Later he woke up and said, "You`re cute."
"What happened to `beautiful`?" I asked him.
"The drugs are wearing off," he replied.
Forgive Your Enemies?
The preacher's Sunday sermon was "Forgive Your Enemies."
He asked how many of the congregation have forgiven their enemies?
About half held up their hands.
He then repeated his question. Now about 80% held up their hands.
He then repeated his question once more.
All responded, except one elderly lady.
"Mrs. Johnson, are you not willing to forgive your enemies?"
"I don't have any."
"Mrs. Johnson that is very unusual. How old are you?"
"Ninety-three," she replied.
"Mrs. Johnson, please come down in front and tell the congregation how a person cannot have an enemy in the world?"
The little sweetheart of a lady tottered down the aisle and said, "I outlived every one of those bitches!"
Today's early test ratings show 17 rated races from three meetings.
Have a great day's racing!
