Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Well, after my IT problems yesterday,

When I got no work done but aged about 20 years in 8 hours,

I am finally fully back on line and starting to catch up on my emails.

A word of advice...

If you have a Mac and use a DisplayLink USB graphics adaptor to drive one of your additional screens,

Unplug it before upgrading to Yosemite; the Mavericks drivers don't work and will destroy the upgrade.

But, rather than worry about that, let's look at yesterday's results....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 22.86%.

And that's not such a bad result for this time of the year.

Forecasts

There was one forecast yesterday.

Uttoxeter 12:40 - The CSF paid £1.82

Tricast

There was one tricast yesterday.

Wolverhampton 16:20 - The Trifecta paid £7.70

Winners

From the 35 rated races there were 18 winners (from the top 3 rated horses) - three of those were at a decent prices.

Course Time Horse ISP BSP
Uttoxeter 12:10 Hollywood All Star 7.0 7.6
Southwell 14:45 Abi Scarlett 8.5 10.38
Dundalk 21:10 Black Label 10.0 11.67

Comments...

Here's the actual review of some of the races...

1). Uttoxeter 12:40 - We got the forecast in this race - The CSF paid £1.82

2). Wolverhampton 16:20 - We got the first three in the right order - The Trifecta paid £7.70

3). Dundalk 20:40 - We got the first three in this race - unfortunately, not in the right order.

So, overall, a quiet day with little to report.

The Portfolio

There was neither a Banker's Bet nor a Chancer's Bet yesterday.

On the Portfolio Page there is now a link to the Banker's Bet Proofing Page and, also to the Chancer's Bet proofing page.

You may subscribe to my Portfolio. To do so, you need to go to your Members Page and change option 4 on the Your Profile bit.

If you haven't subscribed, the button will say Yes - just click on it and you'll be signed up.

Any other business

And finally...

Winter Upgrades

I've written a post to detail the Winter Upgrades - you can see it here... Winter Upgrades

I am updating that post to show which upgrades have been implemented and, where possible, to indicate when I think that an upgrade may be implemented.

Because my IT problems, nothing was done yesterday.

Today

Today's ratings show 33 races from 5 meetings.

Nothing major stands out to me, however...

Newcastle 12:10 - This looks like an interesting race as the third rated horse has a confidence level of less than 10%. The top rated horse has a decent rating but is moving up in class.

Lingfield 12:25 - Our top rated horse is dropping two classes even though he has some reasonable form.

Newcastle 14:40 - Our top rated horse is the standout horse in terms of performance over the going.

Anyway, as always...

Have a great day's racing!

As always...

My kindest regards
