Good morning...

You've got to be mad to go Christmas shopping the last Saturday before Christmas so,

Guess what Jill and I did yesterday.

Now that the wine rack is fully replenished...

And the mince pies have been made,

I'll not be straying far for the next two weeks.

Instead, I'll be busy implementing the upgrades and,

Doing all the eating, drinking and being merry stuff.

But, before I start planning all that, let's look at yesterday's results....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 28.13%.

And, after the stress of Christmas shopping, that was a relief for me.

Forecasts

There were three forecasts yesterday.

Lingfield 12:25 - The CSF paid £3.42

Lingfield 14:00 - The CSF paid £11.82

Haydock 14:05 - The CSF paid £34.22

Tricast/Trifecta

There was one tricast/trifecta yesterday.

Lingfield 12:55 - The Trifecta paid £21.80

Winners

From the 32 rated races there were 19 winners (from the top 3 rated horses) - seven of those were at a decent prices.

Here's the actual review of some of the races...

1). Lingfield 12:25 - We got the forecast in this race - The CSF paid £3.42

2). Lingfield 12:55 - We got the first three horses in this race - unfortunately in the wrong order.

3). Lingfield 13:25 - Our top rated horse was a non-runner. The Live Ratings promoted the 2nd and 3rd rated horses and brought in Edu Querido as the new 3rd rated horse. Edu Querido went on to win at 2.25 ISP (2.52 BSP.)

4). Lingfield 14:00 - We got the forecast in this race - The CSF paid £11.82

5). Haydock 14:05 - We got the forecast in this race - The CSF paid £34.22

6). Haydock 15:15 - We got the first three horses in this race - unfortunately in the wrong order.

7). Ascot 15:30 - In the big race of the day, The Ladbroke Handicap, our second rated horse, Bayan, won at 15.0 ISP (19.97 BSP.)

Winter Upgrades

I am updating that post to show which upgrades have been implemented and, where possible, to indicate when I think that an upgrade may be implemented.

Because of my Christmas Shopping and Mince Pie making, nothing was done yesterday.

Today

Today's ratings show 19 races from 3 meetings.

There is only one un-rated race.

With only 19 rated races there's not much to go on but...

Lingfield 12:40 - Our top rated horse, Buy Back Bob, is the Jockey's only ride at the meeting and the Trainer's only horse at the meeting. He is dropping 2 classes since his last race.

Fakenham 13:00 - Our top rated horse, Be Bop Boru, is the Jockey's only ride at the meeting and the Trainer's only horse at the meeting. He is dropping 1 class since his last race and has won twice (and been placed twice) over soft going.

Lingfield 13:40 - I don't really understand how Superciliary is our top rated horse. He hasn't run since April (or thereabouts) and is moving up 3 classes. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
