Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

So, this will be my last post until Friday the 26th of December.

Let me take this opportunity to wish you (from Jill and me), an incredibly good Christmas.

Don't take any notice of anyone else...

Eat, drink and party until you can't do it anymore!

Even if they tell you that you shouldn't!

There's always the New Year for all that diet and self denial stuff.

But, before I start thinking about next year's diet, let's look at yesterday's results....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 15.79%.

Not really what we should be getting but the month is on target to end way above this month last year.

Forecasts

There were no forecast yesterday.

Tricast/Trifecta

There were no tricast/trifecta(s) yesterday.

Winners

From the 19 rated races there were 10 winners (from the top 3 rated horses) - two of those were at a decent prices.

Course Time Horse ISP BSP
Wolverhampton 14:10 Scoreline 8.5 8.68
Wolverhampton 16:40 Sheriff of Nawton 7.0 7.6

Comments...

Here's the actual review of some of the races...

1). Wolverhampton 13:40 - We got the first three horses in this race - unfortunately in the wrong order.

2). Bangor 14:00 - We got the first three horses in this race - unfortunately in the wrong order.

3). Kempton 15:50 - Our top rated horse was a non-runner. The Live Ratings promoted our 2nd rated horse, Strategic Force, to top rated; Strategic Force went on to win.

And finally...

Winter Upgrades

I've written a post to detail the Winter Upgrades - you can see it here... Winter Upgrades

I am updating that post to show which upgrades have been implemented and, where possible, to indicate when I think that an upgrade may be implemented.

I will have plenty of progress to report on Friday.

Today

Both Jill and I would like to thank you for the support over the last year and we both wish you a very merry Christmas.

I'm looking forward to an exciting day's racing on Friday; we did well last year...

We got the Trifecta in the Christmas Hurdle and the first and second horses in the King George VI Chase.

So, with the more accurate ratings, I'm looking forward to good results.

5 star ratingsOnce again, if you've got anything to say about Focus Ratings, please wander over to Focus Ratings Review and have your say.

As always...

My kindest regards
