Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Yesterday I only watched the results for the early races,

Which, I have to admit, weren't so great.

At least, for a new strategy that I am looking into, they were very unprofitable.

So it was a bit of a surprise to see the results this morning.

The late AW races at Kempton seem to have treated us kindly.

Today I shall be working on speeding up the site as it is starting to get annoying slow for me.

Having said that, I do much of my work in the early hours of the morning when the backups are running and results are being compiled and system statistics are being updated.

Still, we have clients in Australia (and in other time zones) so I do need to try to make the site as fast as possible for all 24 hours of the day.

Anyway, I'll try to sort that, in the meantime let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 36.36%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 35.29%.

Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 36.11% from all 36 Races (including previously unrated races.)

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 112.86 units returned to 100 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, 12.86%

Top Rated Horse - There were 12 winners from the top rated horses from 33 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 38.03 units returned to 33 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 15.24%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 9 winners from the second rated horses from 34 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 64.83 units returned to 34 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 90.68%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 3 winners from the third rated horses from 33 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 10 units returned to 33 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -69.7%

THE AMISH & ELEVATORS

An Amish boy and his father were visiting a mall. They were amazed by almost everything they saw, but especially by two shiny, silver walls that could move apart and then slide back together again.

The boy asked, "What is this, Father?" The father (never having seen an elevator) responded, "Son, I have never seen anything like this in my life, I don't know what it is."

While the boy and his father were watching with amazement, a fat old lady in a wheel chair rolled up to the moving walls and pressed a button.

The walls opened and the lady rolled between them into a small room.

The walls closed and the boy and his father watched the small circular numbers above the walls light up sequentially.

They continued to watch until it reached the last number and then the numbers began to light in the reverse order..

Finally the walls opened up again and a gorgeous, voluptuous 24 year old blonde woman stepped out.

The father, not taking his eyes off the young woman, said quietly to his son ............... "Go get your mother."

Happy Thursday

A 54 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital.

While on the operating table she had a near death experience.

Seeing God she asked "Is my time up?"

God said, "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live."

Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck.

She even had someone come in and change her hair colour and brighten her teeth!

Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it.

After her last operation, she was released from the hospital.

While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance.

Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another 43 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?"

(You'll love this)....

God replied: "I didn't bloody recognize you."
