Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Yesterday wasn't so wonderful but...

We are still running with a 2016 strike rate (for the top rated horse) of over 30% so it's not all bad.

We did get a 50% strike rate for our PBS selections and are comfortably running at 7 points profit (from 16 points staked) for the month.

I am starting to put my Cheltenham hat on and think about how we approach next week.

Anyway, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 15.79%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 15%.

Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 14.29% from all 21 Races (including previously unrated races.)

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 48.33 units returned to 55 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -12.13%

Top Rated Horse - There were 3 winners from the top rated horses from 19 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 9.33 units returned to 19 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -50.89%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 2 winners from the second rated horses from 16 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 8 units returned to 16 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -50%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 2 winners from the third rated horses from 20 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 31 units returned to 20 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 55%

Kids Writing about the Sea

1) This is a picture of an octopus. It has eight testicles.
(Kelly age 6)

2) Oysters' balls are called pearls.
(James age 6)

3) If you are surrounded by sea you are an Island. If you don't have sea all round you, you are incontinent.
( Wayne age 7)

4) Sharks are ugly and mean, and have big teeth, just like Emily Richardson. She's not my friend no more.
(Kylie age 6)

5) A dolphin breathes through an assh*le on the top of its head.
(Billy age 8)

6) My uncle goes out in his boat with pots, and comes back with crabs.
(Millie age 6)

7) When ships had sails, they used to use the trade winds to cross the ocean. Sometimes, when the wind didn't blow, the sailors would whistle to make the wind come. My brother said they would be better off eating beans.
(William age 7)

8) I like mermaids. They are beautiful, and I like their shiny tails. How do mermaids get pregnant?
(Helen age 6)

9) I'm not going to write about the sea. My baby brother is always screaming and being sick, my Dad keeps shouting at my Mom, and my big sister has just got pregnant, so I can't think what to write.
(Amy age 6)

10) Some fish are dangerous. Jellyfish can sting. Electric eels can give you a shock. They have to live in caves under the sea where I think they have to plug themselves into chargers.
(Christopher age 7)
