Good morning...
Yesterday was pretty unexciting with just three meetings and...
The results were just as unexciting.
Today looks far more interesting with six meetings but I guess that we're all more interested in next week's festival.
And why not?
For four days I'll be cursing internet TV and watching some of the best racing of the year.
Most of the time I only see the races as numbers (the elements that go to make up the ratings) and so it'll be nice to actually watch the beasts running.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....
Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 20%.
Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 20%.
Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 20% from all 20 Races (including previously unrated races.)
The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 40.13 units returned to 59 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -31.98%
Top Rated Horse - There were 4 winners from the top rated horses from 20 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 12.25 units returned to 20 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -38.75%
2nd Rated Horse - There were 6 winners from the second rated horses from 19 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 22.38 units returned to 19 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 17.79%
3rd Rated Horse - There were 1 winners from the third rated horses from 20 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 5.5 units returned to 20 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -72.5%
