Good morning...
Yesterday was a rather confusing one for me.
The overall results don't really describe the day as it was far better than the numbers suggest.
After all, you could have done the forecast or trifecta in every race and you would have made a profit.
Or, come to think of it, the reverse forecast or combination trifecta.
And whilst the overall strike rate for the top rated horse was perfectly acceptable...
I was expecting a slightly higher number.
Anyway, enough of that, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....
Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 26.32%.
Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 30.77%.
Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 25.58% from all 43 Races (including previously unrated races.)
The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 122.07 units returned to 113 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, 8.03%
Top Rated Horse - There were 10 winners from the top rated horses from 38 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 18.74 units returned to 38 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -50.68%
2nd Rated Horse - There were 9 winners from the second rated horses from 37 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 61.58 units returned to 37 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 66.43%
3rd Rated Horse - There were 7 winners from the third rated horses from 38 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 41.75 units returned to 38 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 9.87%

Woman in Hot Air Balloon
A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him,
"Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."
The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You're in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes south latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude."
She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Liberal Coalition supporter”.
"I am," replied the man. "How did you know?"
"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct. But I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me."
The man smiled and responded, "You must be a Labor supporter."
"I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?"
"Well," said the man, "you don't know where you are - or where you are going. You've risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now it's my fault."
