Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Yesterday I was a bit disappointed with the results from Ascot but...

Having had a think about it this morning, they weren't so bad.

We did nothing in the Queen Anne Stakes but we did get the reverse Trifecta in the Coventry Stakes (it paid £56.80)

Our 2nd rated horse won the King's Stand Stakes and we got the Trifecta in the St James's Palace Stakes.

We did nothing in the Ascot Stakes but our 3rd rated horse won the Windsor Castle Stakes - it paid 20/1 ISP (34.00 BSP.)

From the six races, four of them were won by a top three rated horse. And, 35 points (to ISP) would have been returned for the 6 points staked.

So, perhaps not so bad after all.

And, had you blindly backed every top rated horse in all races you would have made a profit of 9.41% (to ISP.)

Anyway, we'll see what today is going to bring. Let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 14.29%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 17.95%.

Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 14.63% from all 41 Races (including previously unrated races.)

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 109.41 units returned to 100 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, 9.41%

Top Rated Horse - There were 5 winners from the top rated horses from 35 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 12.58 units returned to 35 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -64.06%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 10 winners from the second rated horses from 34 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 48.12 units returned to 34 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 41.53%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 7 winners from the third rated horses from 31 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 48.71 units returned to 31 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 57.13%
