Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

A disappointing day, yesterday but...

That happens from time to time.

We did make a profit from our Place Betting Strategy so it's not all bad.

I feel that I'm getting somewhere with a possible strategy for dutching the top three rated horses in non-handicap races.

I expect that I'll have something to say tomorrow.

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 14.71%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 14.71%.

Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 14.29% from all 35 Races (including previously unrated races.)

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 67.95 units returned to 102 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -33.38%

Top Rated Horse - There were 5 winners from the top rated horses from 34 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 13.2 units returned to 34 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -61.18%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 3 winners from the second rated horses from 34 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 10.75 units returned to 34 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -68.38%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 6 winners from the third rated horses from 34 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 44 units returned to 34 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 29.41%

Non Handicap Races - Top Rated Horse - There were 12 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 3 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 25%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 6.58 units returned to 12 units staked. The Top Rated Non-Handicap Profit Index was, thus, -45.17%

Non Handicap Races - Top Three Rated Horses - There were 12 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 8 Top Three Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for the Top Three Rated Horses) was 66.67%

Something to make you laugh

The Mexican Maid

The Mexican maid asked for a pay increase.

The wife was very upset about this, and decided to talk to her about the raise.

She asked: “Now Maria, why do you want a pay increase?”

Maria: “Well, Señora, there are tree reasons why I wanna increaze.”

“The first is that I iron better than you.”

Wife: “Who said you iron better than me?”

Maria: “Jor huzban he say so.”

Wife: “Oh yeah?”

Maria: “The second reason eez that I am a better cook than you.”

Wife: “Nonsense, who said you were a better cook than me?”

Maria: “Jor hozban did.”

Wife, increasingly agitated: “Oh he did, did he?”

Maria: “The third reason is that I am better at sex than you in the bed.”

Wife, really boiling now and through gritted teeth says, “And did my husband say that as well?”

Maria: “No Señora….the gardener did.”

Wife: “So, how much do you want?”

Today

Today's early test ratings show 44 rated races from six meetings.

Have a great day's racing!

As always...

My kindest regards
