Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Well...

The updates that I am trying to complete aren't going quite as well as expected.

There has been a long period of one step forward and two steps back.

However, I'm now making headway (at last.)

The problem is that most of the calculations take place overnight and I'm sort of running out of time to get them done (every process requires the previous one to complete first in most cases.)

This has required me to re-write some of the original processes to speed them up.

Obviously, I still need to ensure that the ratings continue to come out as normal.

And my recent ill health hasn't helped.

Still, I'm getting there.

Yesterday was an average day but...

Had you blindly backed the top rated horse in every race you would have made a profit of 77.94% on your stakes.

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Yesterday's Results

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 29.41%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 29.41%.

Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 27.78% from all 36 Races (including previously unrated races.)

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 92.88 units returned to 98 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -5.22%

Top Rated Horse - There were 10 winners from the top rated horses from 34 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 60.5 units returned to 34 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 77.94%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 6 winners from the second rated horses from 31 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 20.38 units returned to 31 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -34.26%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 2 winners from the third rated horses from 33 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 12 units returned to 33 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -63.64%

Non Handicap Races - Top Rated Horse - There were 12 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 1 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 8.33%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 1.67 units returned to 12 units staked. The Top Rated Non-Handicap Profit Index was, thus, -86.08%

Non Handicap Races - Top Three Rated Horses - There were 12 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 6 Top Three Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for the Top Three Rated Horses) was 50%
