Good morning...
So, I take a day off and we have an excellent day.
Is there a correlation there; should I take a day off more often?
Here are the headlines...
Our top rated horse won 43.75% of all the races.
If you'd backed the top rated horse (to £1 stakes), in every race, you'd had have £48.86 returned for an outlay of £32.
There were 5 Forecasts; if you had done the £1 forecast on every race it would have cost you £32 and you'd have had £70.82 returned.
There was 1 Tricast; if you had done the £1 tricast on every race it would have cost you £32 and you'd have had £55.48 returned.
There's so much to say about yesterday so, let's look at yesterday's results in more detail....
Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 43.75%.
We can't really complain about that.

There was a Banker's Bet yesterday (but not a Chancer's Bet.)
Bankers Bet = AW High RC2 Handicaps - where R4 Status = 1 and where Race Type = All Weather and where the Race is a Handicap Race and the Race\'s RC2 is greater than 60% and Runners was equal to or less than 8
Selection = Back to ISP - Lingfield (AW) - 12:50:00 - Crakehall Lad (7)
Races (over last year): 20 Wins: 4 Strike Rate: 20.00% ROI: 132.20% AV SP: 6.61%
Crakehall Lad came second.
On the Portfolio Page there is now a link to the Banker's Bet Proofing Page and, also to the Chancer's Bet proofing page.

Today's 5am ratings show 14 races from 2 meetings.
I'm not going to do any analysis today as I really need to get on with the Speed Ratings.
There was a major breakthrough, yesterday and I'll have something to say about that later on.
Thank you to all of you who offered suggestions; the solution is far easier than I anticipated; as is often the case when you stand back and look at things logically.
So, as always...
Have a great day's racing!
Once again, if you've got anything to say about Focus Ratings, please wander over to Focus Ratings Review and have your say.
As always...
