Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

O.K. It's been a while since I've done one of these but...

I'm hoping that I can get back on track as I kind of enjoy doing them.

Obviously, yesterday was a pretty good day for us.

Out top rated horse had a strike rate of 40% (for some reason Mondays are usually good for us) and...

Had you blindly backed the top rated horse in every race you would have made a profit of 81.64% on your stakes.

Had you restricted yourself to the non handicap races you would have had a 50% strike rate (for the top rated horse) and would have had a 116.67% profit on your stakes.

I've been doing some work on some improvements to Focus Ratings and hope to have some really good news for you sometime soon.

For more detail, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results

Anyway, I'll get to that, firstly let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Something to make you smile...

Pickles

Bill worked in a pickle factory. He had been employed there for a number of years when he came home one day to confess to his wife that he had a terrible compulsion.

He had an urge to stick his penis into the pickle slicer. His wife suggested that he should see a sex therapist to talk about it, but Bill indicated that he'd be too embarrassed.

He vowed to overcome the compulsion on his own. One day a few weeks later, Bill came home absolutely ashen. His wife could see at once that something was seriously wrong.

"What's wrong, Bill?" she asked.

"Do you remember that I told you how I had this tremendous urge to put my penis into the pickle slicer?"

"Oh, Bill, you didn't."

"Yes, I did."

"My God, Bill, what happened?"

"I got fired."

"No, Bill. I mean, what happened with the pickle slicer?"

"Oh...she got fired too."

Earring

A man is at work one day when he notices that his co-worker is wearing an earring.

This man knows his co-worker to be a normally conservative fellow and is curious about his sudden change in 'fashion sense.'

The man walks up to him and says, 'I didn't know you were into earrings.'

'Don't make such a big deal, it's only an earring,' he replies sheepishly.

His friend falls silent for a few minutes, but then his curiosity prods him to say, "So, how long have you been wearing one?"

"Ever since my wife found it in my car."

(I always wondered how this trend got started.)

Today

Today's early test ratings show 37 rated races from five meetings.

Have a great day's racing!

As always...

My kindest regards
