Morning News

focus-ratings-mornoing newsGood morning...

Who can complain about a 35% strike rate?

Or a 56.98% profit on stakes (for our top rated horse?)

Saturdays are normally a struggle for us but...

Yesterday was easy.

Today is officially a day off but I shall be doing some work on the morning ratings email.

If it all goes horribly wrong (as coding changes often do), don't panic - I'll just send out the current ratings email.

For more detail of how we did yesterday, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results

Anyway, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....

Something to make you smile...

Beer Problems

A man walks into a bar and says, “Give me a beer before the problems start!”

He drinks the beer and then orders another saying, “Give me a beer before the problems start!”

The bartender looks confused but gives him another beer.

This goes on for a while, and after the fifth beer the bartender is totally confused and asks the man, “When are you going to pay for these beers?”

The man answers, “Now the problems start!”

And another one for luck...

The Whole Truth

At school, a boy is told by a classmate that most adults are hiding at least one dark secret, and that this makes it very easy to blackmail them by saying, "I know the whole truth" even when you don't know anything.

The boy decides to go home and try it out. As he is greeted by his mother at the front door he says, "I know the whole truth." His mother quickly hands him $20 and says, "Just don't tell your father."

Quite pleased, the boy waits for his father to get home from work, and greets him with, "I know the whole truth." The father promptly hands him $40 and says, "Please don't say a word to your mother."

Very pleased, the boy is on his way to school the next day, when he sees the mailman at his front door. The boy greets him by saying, "I know the whole truth."

The mailman drops the mail, opens his arms and says, "Then come give your FATHER a big hug!"
