Good morning...
Not such a bad day for us yesterday.
Today looks like being very quiet with only 18 races from 3 meetings.
Just a heads up; the ratings may be coming out slightly later than normal today...
Even though the early test ratings look fine, there was a glitch with today's Advance Ratings.
As our R5, R6 and R6 Plus ratings rely on Advance Ratings I have started recompiling the Advance Ratings.
I'm not sure how long this takes as it normally happens in the background; if it looks like running past 6:30 am then I'll have to delay sending out the normal ratings until it has finished.
It was another blindly profitable day for our Advabce Ratings System 1, Investment Betting and EarlyBird Diamonds and Gold system selections - all of which come free for Focus Ratings members.

Anyway, let's get on and take a quick look at yesterday's results in more detail....
Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 27.78%.
Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 25%.
Yesterday's - Link to Follow - results for All Races (including previously unrated races), show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 28.57% from all 21 Races (including previously unrated races.)
The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 51.1 units returned to 55 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, -7.09%
Top Rated Horse - There were 5 winners from the top rated horses from 18 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 12.73 units returned to 18 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, -29.28%
2nd Rated Horse - There were 7 winners from the second rated horses from 19 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 27.5 units returned to 19 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 44.74%
3rd Rated Horse - There were 3 winners from the third rated horses from 18 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 10.87 units returned to 18 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -39.61%
Non Handicap Races - Top Rated Horse - There were 9 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 3 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 33.33%
Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 6.9 units returned to 9 units staked. The Top Rated Non-Handicap Profit Index was, thus, -23.33%
Non Handicap Races - Top Three Rated Horses - There were 9 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 9 Top Three Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for the Top Three Rated Horses) was 100%
