Good morning...
It's a bit hard to get excited about a day's racing which consisted of...
Only 8 races.
I suppose that I could mention that we got one combination trifecta and two reverse forecasts but it would have been nice to have had some winners as well.
Today's conundrum for me is the sudden influx of free trial requests.
I get an email every morning listing the email addresses of people who have requested a 7 day free trial of Focus Ratings.
Normally there are 2 or 3 requests - today it was 127.
I am guessing that there's been some chatter on one of the forums or, perhaps, it's just people who are using this down time to try out new services?
Anyway, I'm not complaining.
For more detail on yesterday's results, here are the results in the Traffic Light Results PDF format... Yesterday's Traffic Light Results

The following screenshot show the blindly profitable race types at Thurles.
I guess that, today, the three races to concentrate on are the 14:40, the 15:40 and the 16:10 as they are all race types that have been blindly profitable historically.
There are plenty of big field races at Thurles.
Unsurprisingly, we tend to do better in the races with up to 10 runners.
There are two 9 runner races today (the 14:10 and the 15:10.)
Traditionally we have achieved a 45.45% strike rate for 9 runner races at Thurles (for our top rated horse.)
Those wins have historically generated a 102.73% profit on stakes to ISP.
The 20 and 22 furlong races are both blindly profitable for our top rated horse.
There are four races today to be run over that distance so perhaps these are races to think about.
Races run over these distances have shown a historic strike rate (for our top rated horse) of about 46%.
Late Night Drink
After a night on the town, a young woman brought a new friend home for a late-night drink.
"You can't make any noise," she warned him. "My parents are upstairs and if they find out they'll kill us."
Things started getting heated on the sofa, but after a while alcohol got the better of the man.
"I have to go," he said.
"Well you can't go upstairs. The bathroom is right next to my parents' bedroom," she replied. "Use the kitchen sink."
So he dutifully retired to the kitchen.
A few minutes later, he popped his head around the door and asked, "Do you have any toilet paper, or should I just use a paper towel?"
Today's early test ratings show 6 rated races from one meeting.
Have a great day's racing!
As always...
My kindest regards
