A fairly well behaved day for me yesterday.

I did go to the bar once but that was at 8am to have a coffee and a gossip.

Now, I'm not really a gambler but occasionally I like to buy a scratch card.

I bought one and it must have been the right one as I won 50 euros for a 5 euro cost.

I just love it when the day starts well.

I don't actually see this as gambling as the scratchcard that tends to be successful for me is a sort of crossword type thing.

Thus, I see it as more educational than gambling.

I spent most of the day doing some behind the scenes programming stuff to try to automate all the little jobs that I have to do every morning...

All of those little jobs that I used to do out of habit but, after 10 weeks with no racing, am now forgetting to do (or, even forgetting how to do them - can you believe that it took me 5 minutes yesterday morning to work out how I used to work out the Investment Betting selections.)

Today is market day in my village so...

I might be slightly distracted (in the morning, at least) but I have got lots of work lined up to do.

Yesterday's Results, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 35.71%.

Yesterday's Live Ratings, show a strike rate (for our top rated horse) of 37.5%.

The Overall Profit Index. If you had blindly backed every top three rated horse in all of the races you would have had 50.37 units returned to 46 units staked. The Overall Profit Index was, thus, 9.5%

Top Rated Horse - There were 5 winners from the top rated horses from 14 Races. If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 18.37 units returned to 14 units staked. The Top Rated Profit Index was, thus, 31.21%

2nd Rated Horse - There were 3 winners from the second rated horses from 16 Races. If you had blindly backed the 2nd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 21 units returned to 16 units staked. The 2nd Rated Profit Index was, thus, 31.25%

3rd Rated Horse - There were 1 winners from the third rated horses from 16 Races. If you had blindly backed the 3rd rated horse in all of the races you would have had 11 units returned to 16 units staked. The 3rd Rated Profit Index was, thus, -31.25%

Non Handicap Races - Top Rated Horse - There were 3 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 2 Top Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for Top Rated Horses) was 66.67%

Top Rated Horse - If you had blindly backed the top rated horse in all of the races you would have had 9 units returned to 3 units staked. The Top Rated Non-Handicap Profit Index was, thus, 200%

Non Handicap Races - Top Three Rated Horses - There were 3 non-handicap races yesterday. From these races there were 4 Top Three Rated winners. Thus, the Strike Rate (for the Top Three Rated Horses) was 133.33%

Our only Investment Betting selection came 5th but our only Advance Ratings System 1 selection won at 2.68 BSP.

EarlyBird Ratings

Since the return of GB racing we have only had 3 EarlyBird Diamonds and Gold selections.

2 of those 3 selections won.

So our strike rate, so far, is 66.67%

We have made 7.38 points profit to ISP and...

10.60 points profit to BSP (assuming a 2% commission.)

Our Profit on Stakes to BSP is 353.3%
